SHY Zip’s secret lies inside its slim side-guides. A “zip” – welded along the length of the cloth side – runs inside an inner channel – held back firmly in the outer channel by cushioning pads.
The zip stops the cloth from being pulled out of the edge channeling. So blackout edges aren’t blown or pushed out. The cloth is sealed
at the edge and wind-resistant. It holds against wind and other forces within aesthetically pleasing channels.

The neat, efficient and robust top cassette contains the cloth and all necessary operating mechanism. Maintenance access (for all but the small, 65mm square head box) is via an easily removed front cover. This can be done whilst the blind is in position.
The head box, side-guide and bottom channel are powder-coated aluminium (except for the 200mm headbox, which is made from steel) – available in white or black as standard. Special colours and anodised may be requested.
Our range has 65mm, 85mm, 110mm, and 150mm square head boxes, and a new 200 mm head box with a chamfered front.
